Dr. David Butler, Executive Director of the National Association of Call Centers (NACC), recently hosted a meeting of public and private sector developers to discuss the potential economic impact of recruiting call centers to Mississippi and to encourage the formation of a Mississippi Call Centers Association. He explained that "NACC's purpose is to be a voice for the industry and to provide research-based data, information and analysis to its membership to enable them to make both tactical and strategic decisions with the best and most comprehensive information possible." A Mississippi affiliate association would have a similar purpose.
Dr. Butler also serves as Director of the
International Development Ph.D Program at The University of Southern Mississippi
and is the author of Bottom-Line Call Center Management: Creating a Culture
of Acountability and Excellent Customer Service. For more information on the
