The World Trade Center of Mississippi spotlights Liles Williams.
Chairman of the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Commission

On January 1, 2005, Liles Williams, of Raymond, assumed the chairmanship of the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Commission, a six-year appointment he received from Governor Haley Barbour.
“I am very proud of this appointment,” said Governor Barbour. “Liles brings a wealth of talent to the table, and I know he will do an excellent job in serving the citizens of Mississippi.”
Williams recently retired from his position as the Vice President and Assistant to the President of Stuart C. Irby Company in Jackson. He graduated from Hinds Junior College and received his Bachelor’s degree from Belhaven College. Williams has served as the Executive Vice President of IRBY Corp., as manager for the Interstate Electric Company, and as a purchasing agent for the Mississippi Chemical Corporation. He has served as President of the Board for the Mississippi World Trade Center, as a member of the Mississippi Economic Council Board of Directors, and as Chairman of the Mississippi Product Liability Task Force.
