TradePort.org - Global Trade Tutorial   TradePort breaks down the basics of exporting into these basic steps-Getting Started, Researching Your Markets, Developing Your Export Strategy, Focusing on the Details, Understanding the Rules of Trade and Financing. Schedule B Numbers    The U.S. Census Bureau administers export codes (Schedule B numbers) and every item exported from the U.S.  is assigned a unique 10-digit identification code.
